Case history: Centrica
Brief: 1,200 people over four days, mixed age, sex and ethnic background. Energetic musical activity for groups of 75 at a time, as a fun energising part of an activities circuit in which staff were learning about their new call centre. Session to take place in the new office building and to be tied in with the company's brand value of learning something new.
Venue: New Centrica Call Centre, Leicester
Performance: Started outside room with participants for ice breaking introduction and warm up, then entered the new office where 4 groups of different types of instrument were set up amongst the desks and phones. Divided the participants into equal groups, and rotated them around the room for 4 different rhythmic pieces lead by Mark Walker on drum kit. Instruments included drums, percussion, didgeridoos, washboards and fun sound effects
