Case history: Microsoft
Brief: 120 people over two days, (60 per day), delegates from MSN Europe, Africa and the Middle East. To run 4 energising activities through the course of the day to enliven and enthuse a mixed gender group who have been brought together to network and celebrate 10 years of MSN. Energisers to link in with the areas that the delegates represent.
Venue: Sofitel Hotel, London
Performance: The first activity came at the end of the coffee break, with Mark Walker and three drummers playing the delegates back into the conference room, which certainly created a stir. Then, prior to lunch the drummers returned with enough drums for all the participants to join in some simple European style street drumming, followed by an African song and dance that left everyone invigorated and created a convivial and excited atmosphere ideal for the networking lunch break. After lunch a boomwhacker session started the afternoon, and to finish the conference the drummers were accompanied by the MD and speakers of the day whilst the delegates shook egg shakers and joined in a Middle Eastern style chant and belly dance…!
Feedback: "Thanks Mark - it was a pleasure to work with you guys and I will let you know dates for the next one as soon as I can." (Aileen Markey, HR Manager, MSN EMEA & International Sales)
Mark Walker has done several subsequent events for Microsoft.
